The British Fire Consortium would like to welcome you to our Web Site.

The primary aims of the BFC are maintain high quality technical standards of our members and to actively encourage all our members to obtain third party accreditation to ISO 9001 or equivalent approval bodies recognised by the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA).

Our members supply quality products and highly professional servicing for many aspects of fire prevention and fire protection. Products and servicing will include, extinguishers, signage, alarms, sprinklers, dry risers, emergency lighting and risk assessment together with many additional fire safety products.

The BFC promote best practice within the fire protection and fire prevention industry through representation with official UK and European bodies together with other relevant industry agencies, institutions and associations. The BFC provide technical advice and approved training for members and hold regular meetings, enabling the opportunities for members to exchange ideas, discuss issues and trends facing our industry today.

AGM 2017

This years AGM will be held at the Falmouth Hotel in Falmouth, Cornwall on Friday the 6th October 2017. For more detials and booking forms please contact the secretary.

General Meeting

The General meeting was held on Tuesday the 9th of May 2017 at the Alveston Manor in Stratford-Upon Avon. The guest speakers were Alex Babbage from Fireco who talked about their new range of door guards and Mark Walsh from EU Fire & Security on what they are offering members of the BFC.

Training Diary

The training diary has been modified for the remainder of the year. We have had to move the September Technician course due to BSi commitments.we have also added a refresher course in Newcastle on October the 2nd, for the latest diary click here

Renewal 2017

The renewal process for 2017 has begun you should have received your invoices by now, if you pay before the 30th April 2017 you can knock the 50 credit charge for early payment of the total bill.
