The British Fire Consortium would like to welcome you to our Web Site.

The primary aims of the BFC are maintain high quality technical standards of our members and to actively encourage all our members to obtain third party accreditation to ISO 9001 or equivalent approval bodies recognised by the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA).

Our members supply quality products and highly professional servicing for many aspects of fire prevention and fire protection. Products and servicing will include, extinguishers, signage, alarms, sprinklers, dry risers, emergency lighting and risk assessment together with many additional fire safety products.

The BFC promote best practice within the fire protection and fire prevention industry through representation with official UK and European bodies together with other relevant industry agencies, institutions and associations. The BFC provide technical advice and approved training for members and hold regular meetings, enabling the opportunities for members to exchange ideas, discuss issues and trends facing our industry today.

General Meeting April 2016

The general meeting was held on the 19th of April in Stratford. Thank you to all those that attended.
The guest speakers were Steve Martin from the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) who spoke about its position in the Industry.
Many thanks. There was also a very interesting workshop given by Jim Creak about Fire and Safety Signs in the afternoon.
The next meeting will be held on the 12th July in Stratford.

AGM 2016

This years AGM will be held at the The Royal Victoria Hotel, Llanberis.
The guest speaker will be Bob Bantock from the National Trust who will be talking about recent fires at their properties.
